SAIS: Technical Services Team

 

Mission

The Technical Services Team develops and delivers the technical strategy & support for MIT's student and administrative computing solutions and related business applications. The focus of the team is on web design, solution architecture, system integration, and development support for both enterprise and departmental solutions. Our services are provided to the various projects within IS&T's Student and Administrative Information Services.

  • Easy-to-use web applications for the MIT community
  • "Web mastering" for all SAIS web applications and sites
  • Information design, usability, and accessibility for our web apps
  • Documentation support for end-users and developers
  • Application and database administration for student and administrative solutions
  • Collaborative development of MIT's SAP strategy
  • Maintenance of key interfaces to and from SAP
  • Strategic and logistic planning for technical infrastructure
  • Identification and evaluation of new SAP products
  • Maintenance of technical development standards
  • ABAP development for SAP projects
