Congratulations to the winners of the Steven Wade Neiterman Award for 2008: Jag Patel and Wayne Turner The Steven Wade Neiterman Award is given to individuals engaged in information technology work in any department at MIT. The award is given to individuals who share the qualities that Steve exhibited: his abilities in collaborative problem solving, in coaching colleagues, and in team building. Steven Wade loved sharing knowledge, and had a wide array of interests and shared his very deep knowledge of MIT's information technology infrastructure. He was very much a "doer" and enjoyed working with people to solve real problems. Finally, there was his commitment to creating community at MIT that suffused all that he did. Please refer to these six criteria, noted in bold above, when making a nomination as they will be used explicitly in the award selection process.
