Staff Biography Profiles

Jesse M.M. Simone

Director of Human Resources in the IS&T HR team of Information Services & Technology at MIT since 2008. Experienced directing all aspects of human resources management including recruitment, and employee relations, leadership training and development, performance management systems and succession planning.

A graduate of Boston University, with a Master’s degree in Human Resources Education. Certified Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR). An active member of the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA) and the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR).


 

Linda D'Amato

HR/ Payroll Coordinator in the IS&T HR team at MIT since 2004. Prior to transferring into IS&T HR in August 2008, Linda was a Senior Financial Assistant in IS&T Finance. She has a total of fifteen years of Payroll experience with MIT and previous companies.


 

Ed Dolan

Senior HR Consultant in the IS&T-HR team of Information Services & Technology at MIT since 2000. Experienced providing competency assessment; organizational and employee development; performance management, coaching and training.

A graduate of the University of Illinois, with a Masters degree in Urban Policy and Planning. Qualified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) administrator and certified Zenger-Miller facilitator. An active member of the Massachusetts Organizational Development Learning Group, and Organizational Development Network. Fluent in Spanish.


 

Steve Filipiak

Senior HR Consultant in the IS&T-HR team of Information Services & Technology at MIT since 2008. Experienced facilitating organizational alignment, providing employee relations resolution, recruiting, performance management, compensation and benefits support.

A graduate of Salem State College with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography. Certified Professional Human Resources (PHR).


 

John Hynes

Senior Consultant in the IS&T-HR team of Information Services & Technology at MIT since 2003, focusing on enhancing performance management in IS&T. Has held a variety of positions at the Institute, including Assistant to the Vice President for Research, Administrative Officer of the Laboratory for Computer Science, and Administrative Director of the News in the Future Consortium at the MIT Media Laboratory.

A graduate of Stonehill College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.


 

Ken Lloyd

Sr. HR Consultant in the IS&T-HR team of Information Services & Technology at MIT since 2008. Experienced providing strategic consulting, organizational development, employee relations, recruitment, retention, and training initiatives.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
