MATLAB at MIT: Student MATLAB

IS&T is pleased to offer Student MATLAB free of charge to all registered MIT undergraduate and graduate students.

Installation

While Student MATLAB can be used offline, an Internet connection is required for installation and activation. While installation is possible over any Internet connection (the VPN is not required), the download size of a full MATLAB installation is quite large (up to 5GB on some platforms). For this reason, we recommend a direct connection to MITnet, or another network connection capable of at least 10Mbit download speeds.

Before installing Student MATLAB, you will need to the obtain license number and activation code, and then follow the instructions in the IS&T Knowledge Base:

Google Chrome will not work. Please use Firefox.
