Effective June 30, 2010, MIT will withdraw from Kuali Student, a next-generation student system being developed by a consortium of universities. This decision follows extensive internal review and discussion, and consultation with Kuali Student board members.

MIT has benefited from working in the consortium, acquiring valuable information from other schools about best practices for student administrative software and systems functionality. The Institute is grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with a group of thoughtful and innovative partners.

MIT will continue as a member of the Kuali Foundation, maintaining its commitment to Kuali Coeus.
