Maple is a complete analytical tool for professors, industry professionals, and students. Powered by its legendary mathematics engine, Maple lets you explore and visualize mathematical concepts, develop technical applications, and share information with the Web, Excel, MATLAB and even your own programs. Its worksheet environment lets you create professional reports, presentations, and interactive technical documents for teaching.

License restrictions

This IS&T distributed version of Maple is for MIT educational and academic research use only by MIT faculty, staff and students. The software may be used on Institute machines or on personally owned computers.

Maplesoft requires users, upon leaving the Institute, to discontinue using the software. Maplesoft may also offer users the option of converting to individual ownership for a fee based on the then current academic price.

Maple licenses are NOT available to Lincoln Laboratory under MIT's contract with Maplesoft.

How to obtain

Academic Computing has renewed the Maple-MIT contract and generously agreed to offer Maple to valid MIT faculty, staff and students at NO CHARGE.
