Today Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) applied an update to MIT's GitHub Enterprise instance at github.mit.edu to address a security vulnerability. This update required MIT to generate new SSH host keys, github.mit.edu's security fingerprint.

If you are a user of github.mit.edu, the next time you connect you will need to update your local configuration. Please see the Knowledge Base for full instructions.

MIT's new SSH key fingerprint is published in the Knowledge Base.

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact the IS&T Service Desk at helpdesk@mit.edu or 617.253.1101. You can also submit a request online.
