In an effort to address the growing security concerns around computing, IT Security Services offers a number of ways to help you make your computing experience safer.

Meetings and Events
- IT-related events / conferences: A representative of the IT Security team is often present as a speaker at venues that share IT information. Some of these include:
- IT Partners Conference
- Security Camp (no longer hosted at MIT)
- Student Orientation
- Faculty Orientation
- Security awareness events: Beginning with October 2008, IS&T is making additional efforts to reach the community with cyber security messages and informational events in support of National Cyber Security Awareness Month.
- Face-to-face meetings: We are available to have a face-to-face discussion with your team or department to go over any recommendations, safe computing practices, or questions that you and your team have.
