Overview
As the technology landscape at MIT has become increasingly complex, control and management of the various project initiatives have necessitated the creation and implementation of a standard project management methodology.
The IS&T Project Management Methodology was developed by leveraging methodologies adopted by leading universities and technology organizations as well as global best practices.
This Project Methodology project is focused on two areas: the definition and deployment of a standard and repeatable project management process across IS&T, and development of a project management competency model that can be used to develop project managers.

Finally, the team is available for on-request presentations on project management topics of interest. All requests for coaching, mentoring, and presentations should be sent to ist-pmm@mit.edu.
