TSM 5.4 for Linux: Restore Your Information

From a root prompt...

To restore a file to its original location:
dsmc restore /home/user/my.file
To restore a file to a new name and location:
dsmc restore /home/user/my.file /home/user/dir1/my.file.renamed
To restore a whole directory to its original location:
dsmc restore /home/myhomedir/ -subdir=yes
To display a list of active and inactive backup versions of files to pick from a specific directory:
dsmc restore "/home/myhomedir/projectDir/*" -pick -inactive
