About Telephony at MIT
IS&T offers many telecommunications options to the MIT community. Offerings include providing phone services and the actual equipment; telephone services such as voice mail and conference calls; cellular phone rentals, and pager rentals or purchases through partner vendors.

The MITvoip production service is MIT's main IP-based voice service intended to replace traditional ISDN phone service as currently used by MIT departments, labs, and centers.
