What You Should Know Before Renting
Cellular telephones from Verizon Wireless (domestic and international use phones) are available for rental at the IS&T Telephone Customer Service Center. See Cellular telephones for more detail.
A requisition is needed before cellular telephones will be made available. Please call ahead to make sure there are telephones available for rental and that the batteries have had sufficient time to be charged.

Customers interested in long term cellular phone rentals may want to consider obtaining their own cellular telephone contract through one of the MIT Preferred Vendors. Preferred vendors offer special pricing to MIT customers.
