Customer Purchased Equipment
Many people wish to purchase their own telephone and telecommunications equipment, such as video conferencing units, etc. This equipment needs to interact with the 5ESS Telephone Switch.
Note: MIT does not use a PBX system like many smaller universities and companies.
Before purchasing this equipment, you should first contact your Customer Service Representative (CSR) to discuss specifications and details of the equipment and if it will work at MIT. Your AO will know who the CSR for your area is.
