Testing Web Pages
Unlike a print brochure, the web gives you little to no control over how your site will be viewed. At MIT, we support a variety of different operating systems and browsers. In addition, you need to consider browser version, screen resolution, monitor type (LCD or CRT), and browser support for JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets. We recommend you test your site on multiple screen size, platform and browser combinations.
In addition to testing your site's functionality it should be tested for usability and accessibility. Information Services and Technology provides labs for both usability and accessibility testing for the MIT community free of charge.
