Spam filtering for MIT's email service scans all incoming email messages.
Messages identified as spam are delivered to your Junk folder instead of being delivered to your inbox. You can use any mail clients to review messages in your Junk folder, but only OWA and Outlook allow you to manage your block/allow lists.
For those who forward their MIT email to another service, messages marked as spam will be delivered to the forwarding address, where they will be handled according to the receiving system’s rules.
