Abaqus is a suite of engineering analysis software packages used to simulate the physical response of structures and solid bodies to load, temperature, contact, impact, and other environmental conditions and is available on standard engineering computer systems.
It is a complete solution for both routine and sophisticated engineering problems covering a vast spectrum of industrial applications, e.g., full vehicle loads, dynamic vibration, multibody systems, nonlinear static thermal coupling, electromagnetics, and smoothed particle hydrodynamics.
Complex materials include: rubbers, thermo-plastics, and human tissue. Allows for crack, impact, and crash event simulations as well as acoustic-structural coupling using a common model data structure and integrated solver technology.
