Email and Calendaring

Effective June 30, 2010, IS&T will no longer support MIT TechTime™ or iPassConnect.

This forum on integrated community services will be held Thursday, October 8 from 2:00–3:30 pm in W20-306 (Twenty Chimneys).

Starting in October, IS&T will make Microsoft Exchange available to the MIT community as an optional email and calendaring solution.

Spam Quarantine is a new anti-spam service for IS&T's traditional (IMAP) email service, using Symantec's Brightmail AntiSpam. Based on feedback from the community, an increase in requests for help, and early test results from the Microsoft Exchange Pilot, it was evident that the current spam-screening service was less effective, especially with the increase in malware and phishing outbreaks.
