How to Obtain

Licensing

Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) is licensed for use by MIT faculty, staff, and students.

MIT’s Adobe Creative Cloud license includes:

Accessing Adobe CC

All MIT students, faculty, and staff can access the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud by entering their @mit.edu address at adobe.com and authenticating through Touchstone.

New accounts for MIT students, faculty, and staff are processed nightly for Adobe Creative Cloud access. If the Adobe portal presents you with an option to "try or buy" an Adobe account when you enter your student or staff @mit.edu address, your MIT access is not yet ready. If it has been more than 24 hours since your eligible MIT email account was activated and you cannot access Adobe Creative Cloud through Touchstone, contact the Service Desk.

If you already have a personal Adobe account using your MIT email address, that account will remain separate from your Touchstone-enabled, MIT-provided account. If you have assets stored in Adobe Creative Cloud using your personal account, see this Knowledge Base article for more information about migrating data from your old account to your new account.
