Apple's Volume Purchasing Program (VPP) for iOS/macOS apps enables participating Departments, Labs, Centers, and Institutes (DLCIs) to purchase iOS apps tax-free. There is a 50% discount for bulk orders of 20 or more copies of a single app. They are distributed via Apple Deployment Programs.
How to obtain

Request apps from your department’s VPP Program Administrator, listed below.
- Your Program Administrator will receive one-time-use redemption codes for the requested apps and a purchase receipt from Apple to give to you.
- If your DLCI does not have an Adminstrator, send a request to join the Apple VPP (below).

If your DLCI does not have an Administrator listed above, you may request that your DLCI join in the Apple VPP by contacting End User Computing with the following information:
- Your name
- A Moira list that can be used to manage account access. This can be an existing Moira list. We will create an Apple ID with this email address, so it cannot currently be used as an Apple ID.
- Your DLCI name
