Salesforce is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. Its cloud-based applications are used for sales, service, marketing, and more. It offers a large portfolio of different products, each with its own licensing model, terms and conditions, and cost.
MIT’s Office of the Vice President for Finance (VPF) and IS&T worked with Salesforce to set up a Master Services Agreement (MSA) that includes MIT-negotiated pricing and terms and conditions for products and licenses currently in use at the Institute.
Products and license types include Enterprise and Unlimited Editions of:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Sales and Service Cloud
- Lightning Platform Starter
- CPQ Plus
- Customer Community
- Customer Community Plus
Other products, including Pardot and various add-ons, are also on the price list.
How to obtain
Licensing
Important: IS&T does not provide, downloads, licensing, or media for any Salesforce product.
IS&T provides some support resources for obtaining and using Salesforce products at MIT at the link below.
If you have questions about products covered under the MSA, how to get started with Salesforce, or require information on how IS&T can help, contact mitsalesforce@mit.edu.
Once your requirements are finalized, contact MIT's Salesforce account representative for an order form that will leverage MIT’s MSA. You can then create an external vendor requisition within the MIT Buy2Pay system.
