IS&T has outfitted a set of classrooms for a pre-scheduled lightweight lecture capture pilot. Instructors may sign up for the pilot to have their lecture recorded during the fall 2021 semester.
Virtual Computer Labs are available to faculty, instructors, and Department, Lab, and Center (DLC) IT support providers for deployment as virtual Athena Ubuntu 18.0.4 or Windows 10 machines for an MIT class of up to 100 students for the duration of a single academic term.
NOTE: This service is in beta. Virtual Labs will be provisioned on a first come first served basis. During this beta period, IS&T may not be able to accommodate all requests immediately if demand exceeds expectations.
Prezi is a multimedia presentation tool that can be used as an alternative to traditional slide making programs. Instead of slides, Prezi makes use of one large canvas that allows for panning and zooming to various parts of the canvas to emphasize the ideas presented there. IS&T has a limited number of licenses available for faculty, lecturers, and instructors to use during this one-year pilot program.
Notability is a note-taking, annotation, and sketching app for Apple computers and mobile devices, enabling users to create and share notes that combine handwriting, typing, drawings, audio, and pictures.

Notability is licensed for use by all MIT community members on Apple devices.
Note: If you are participating in the iPad Loan Program for Students, you do not need to request a license. It will be automatically installed after setup.
