IS&T manages MIT's enterprise agreements with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure. By obtaining and managing accounts for these cloud computing platforms through IS&T, MIT community members simplify their billing while gaining access to a higher level of technical support than is otherwise available to individual customers. The MIT Cloud Accounts portal provides community members with an easy way to request and manage AWS, GCP, and Azure accounts, while providing helpful reporting on billing and usage and a recently refreshed, modernized interface.
In addition, AWS research accounts managed through IS&T now have access to new, streamlined workflows for deploying EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and EFS filesystems. These enhanced features are available only for AWS research accounts.
