Getting started
MIT SECURE
The preferred wireless network for members of the entire MIT community. Log in via your MIT Kerberos account.
MIT GUEST
Wireless connection for guests and visitors of MIT. Visitors connecting to MIT GUEST will be required to provide an email address or mobile phone number to access the network. This network is not encrypted and is not intended for access to internal resources.
Wi-Fi Calling
In campus locations where cellular service is unavailable, individuals with a device and cellular carrier supporting Wi-Fi calling may connect to the MIT SECURE or the MIT Guest wireless network to make and receive calls and to send and receive SMS messages using Wi-Fi Calling.

Wired
Wired internet connectivity is also available to the MIT community members and guests. Setup may be required for devices when plugged into a wall jack.
Printers
Certain printers can be connected to MITnet via Ethernet cable. Wireless printers cannot use MITnet.
