SecureCRT/FX for Windows

SecureCRT is a terminal emulator designed for Internet use with support for Secure Shell (SSH). At MIT, you can use SecureCRT to log in to Athena dialup machines securely

SecureFX is a secure file transfer application for Windows that uses the SSH2 protocol. Use Secure FX to transfer files securely to and from Athena.

Spirion (formerly Identity Finder)

Spirion locates sensitive data elements such as Social Security Numbers, credit card numbers, bank account data, and passwords. It lets you securely delete/encrypt files or redact the particular fields. It searches data in files, emails, browser data, and system areas.

Spirion (formerly Identity Finder) is made available free of charge to MIT faculty, staff, and graduate students on MIT-owned computers.

SAS JMP Licensing

SAS JMP allows you to create and refine graphs interactively or quickly build a new graph using clickable, drag-and-drop variables. You no longer have to switch between windows to make comparisons and explore data. Learn more.

How to Obtain

Licensing

SAS JMP is licensed for academic use by MIT faculty, staff, and students on both MIT-owned and personal machines.

All license keys expire on 7/14/2023, with a substantial subsequent grace period.

Apple iOS Apps: Volume Purchase Program

Apple's Volume Purchasing Program (VPP) for iOS apps enables participating Departments, Labs, and Centers (DLCs) to purchase iOS apps tax-free. There is a 50% discount for bulk orders of 20 or more copies of a single app. They are distributed via Apple Deployment Programs.

In order to participate in the Apple VPP, Departments, Labs and Centers (DLC) must designate an individual Program Administrator to place orders and distribute redemption codes to end users within the DLC.
