Oracle 11gR2

The MIT Oracle 11gR2 client is a silent installer that installs the Administrator client in a standard, Windows-based location and configures a connection to the MIT Oracle Internet Directory Server. The Oracle Internet Directory Server provides lookup information for many MIT databases, including the Data Warehouse. It allows BrioQuery to connect to the Data Warehouse.

Windows Server Software

Windows Server is a group of operating systems designed by Microsoft that supports enterprise-level management, data storage, applications, and communications. 

SharePoint Server is provided to organizations that seek greater control over SharePoint's behavior or design.

Windows Server is available free of charge to current MIT faculty and staff through MIT's Microsoft Campus Agreement (MSCA).

MATLAB

MATLAB (MATrix LABoratory) is a programming and numeric computing platform used to analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models. MATLAB allows matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other languages. MIT's license covers the majority of the available MATLAB toolboxes.
